Introducing Pediatric Yoga with Kaliyah!
We're excited to share our innovative, child-friendly yoga program led by Kaliyah, licensed and registered occupational therapist and certified children’s yoga instructor! This unique approach is designed to engage children while addressing essential developmental skills in a fun and interactive way.
Kaliyah focuses on fostering group social tolerance skills by encouraging teamwork and cooperation through partner poses and group activities. Children learn to respect one another's space and perspectives, promoting empathy and understanding.
In addition, she supports sensory processing skills by incorporating movements and poses that help children become more aware of their bodies and surroundings. This mindfulness extends to motor skills, as the program includes various movements that enhance coordination and balance.
Kaliyah's sessions also emphasize endurance and flexibility through playful activities that keep children engaged and motivated. By building strength through yoga poses, children develop a strong foundation for physical activity while having fun.
Mindfulness and breathing exercises are integral to the program, helping children learn to calm their minds and bodies. These techniques support emotional regulation and resilience, providing tools they can use in everyday situations.
Each class incorporates poses and movements through games and activities that not only make yoga enjoyable but also foster necessary social skills. Children will leave each session feeling empowered, connected, and ready to take on the world!
Join us for a transformative experience that promotes well-being and social development in a supportive environment. Kaliyah’s pediatric yoga program is more than just exercise; it’s a holistic approach to nurturing happy, healthy kids!
