Do you accept insurance ?

Kaliyah Burris, OTR/L is an out-of-network provider. As an out-of-network provider, she does NOT work directly with insurance companies. You are encouraged to inquire with your insurance company to determine out-of-network coverage, including whether preauthorization is necessary, the number of sessions allowed, and the amount of reimbursement, based on your individual policy. If you are interested in seeking private occupational therapy services please contact Kaliyah Burris.

Can you submit for reimbursement for yoga classes?

Not typically. Although the yoga classes run by Kaliyah are therapeutic and have evidenced based focus and background from an OT lens, they are not individualized occupational therapy treatment sessions and are not being billed with a CPT code. If you are a current client, and have already undergone a formal occupational therapy evaluation with Spectacular Kids Occupational Therapy within the year, you are more than welcome to contact your insurance provider and ask if a group yoga intervention provided by Kaliyah Burris, OTR/L would be covered.
